Veil broken, how much?

My second batch of EQ are all open, broken veils, spores all over the place. How much the potency decreases after veil is broken? How much should I increase the dose to get the same effect?

Its not that the potency decreases - its that the fruit stop producing psychoactive alkaloids when their veils break but still grow bigger - therefore weight wise they will be less potent, but they wont lose any activity

You mean that the ratio potency/weight will decrease, but the overall potency will be the same?
As I understand, i will have to ingest the same amount of shrooms even if they are bigger; in other words, more weight to obtain the same effect. Am I wrong?

the difference is sooooo minimal if at all noticable - when you ate and what you ate and your bodies metabolic rate at the time have more to do with it than before or after the viel breaks, exactly what was posted two posts above this.

the reason people say it is better to pick the shrooms around the time the veil opens is to conserve the moisture and nutrient content of the cakes or casing. By letting them grow bigger you get no more alkaloids but you lose moisture and nutrients which might affect later flushes

it's funny how people perceive that whole ratio thing. . If you take an ounce of mushrooms that were all picked before the veils break. . .and take an ounce of mushrooms that are twice the size and have flat caps, the first ounce is more "potent."

Drew said it pretty well too.

Additionally, spores dropped by the billion from multiple fruits dripping their load can cover the casing with a fine dust--inhibiting gaseous exchange and putting a damper on cropping.
