Just deoderant.

There are quite a few people out there who actually think wearing tons of cologne or body spray makes them smell good.

Little do they know it makes them smell like white trash.

The stuff is designed to add a subtle hint of nice smell, not to make you reek of it.

Some people think that pouring expensive cologne on makes them seem rich and classy, nothing is further from the truth. This is the same as people who think that wearing leather jackets, silk shirts, and a dozen gold chains makes then look rich and classy, they don't realize that the only people who dress like that are poor people with no taste who are trying to look rich.

Been looking for this for a while.  Can never find it around here.  Might have to order it online.  What's it go for where you're at?

I smell like crococdiles, Lacoste Pour Homme

I want to like this, but I just can't pull myself to yet.  Spray it on one of those sample cards every time I'm in the mall, but haven't fallen for it yet

Only time these get used is when I'm in WalMart and I decide to spray my friends.  One or two of them actually smells decent though.

Haven't rocked Cool Water in years.  Used to be one of my favorites.

I get compliments all the time.  Its definitely a sexy beast smell, I must admit.

It does seem that the ladies are drawn towards Old Spice products.  I use the body wash on a regualr basis, and the anti-perspirant is also a common item in my home.

I have only seen/smelled Adidas.  Who make the others?  Which is your favorite, or do they all have their own time to be worn?

Totally agreed.  One of the most enticing things is getting close to a girl that is emiting a subtle hint of a fragrance.  Something to tie the experience to yet another sense in a low key manner.

That sounds rather bitter.  On the flip side are the people that think wearing nothing of the sort makes them better.  Neither are correct.

I don't feel the need at all. It just seems like a waste of money to me.

It's not a protest, pretty much nobody I hang out with wears cologne.

Well, personally I find that kind of dress to be gaudy and hideous, it's just my opinion, but there certainly are social groups that dress certain ways. In my experience, the people whose parents are in science or academia, and/or are pursuing those fields themselves tend to dress very casually, or do things like dress in vintage clothing or make their own clothes. Kids who are from blue collar families, or have parents in business tend to wear designer stuff and all seem to dress similarly.

There's also a definite split when I go to bars and stuff. The vintage clothing type kids go to pubs where they can sit and talk, or they go to bars with live music. The designer clothing kids go to clubs where there's just a DJ spinning popular dance stuff, and all the girls wear tight pants and everyone is looking to get laid.

Well, not that people aren't looking to get laid at the pubs and stuff, but the way all that works is completely different.

This is what I'm talking about here:

See how the guys are showing off their muscles and the girls are showing off their midriffs? The focus here is on physical appearance.

Note the ugly shirt, the guy is wearing it BECAUSE it's ugly. The other group would never do that, they don't have an appreciation for irony in their dress, while the second group is really all about jokes. They aren't showing off their physical apperance so much as they're showing off their sense of humor and intelligence.

Two very different social groups with very different values. Each one laughs at, and kinda dislikes the other. The first group think the second group are nerdy weaklings with no style.

The second group thinks the first group are idiots with a completely tacky sense of style.

I pretty much hang with people in picture number two, and well, they are just as much as whores as picture number one - they just look different. Different means and methods, but the end result is the same: fashion whores (ironic or not - it's still fashion) that whore it up.

well, that's not true in my experience. quit the huge generalization, there.

I know plenty of kids from working class homes that are into fashion. I also have known a few rich kids who dress like slobs.

Most of the people I know who are into electronic music and dance/dj culture wear vintage clothing or off-beat clothing - alot of these people are/were art students, college students/graduates, and quite literate and creative. They dance more than anyone else. Oh, and the girls wear tight pants.

Do you know why people started wearing fragrances? Let me tell you.

Back in the day, when people used to go for weeks and weeks and months without ever bathing.. people were pretty fucking smelly and nasty. They would bath in rose water and add all kinds of incenses and shit so they would smell all flowery and nice by covering up the funk smell. Enter Obsession for men.

If you're trying to attract the opposite sex, I hear natural pheremones work best. But you must bath, because water is life, and cleanses toxins, and we don't have an excuse not to.. having showers everywhere.

After one day without showering you're already letting off a really decent amount of natural pheromones into the air...so I say make one day turn into three!
