does anyone know of a strain called Yunnan?

Appearently Chinese, I got a small fully colonized jar from this guy that just didn't say much. I have no idea how long it's been in the fridge, but I'm guessing like 6-8 months because theres a date 04/02/05. Will this still grow and what the hell is it?

that's hilarious. But really, I'm leaving to go home for Christmas this weekend and that's where I'm going to try and fruit these, since all my stuff is there anyway. But I need to whether I should go back and bitch slap this guy for selling me something worthless...

The Yunnan was carried by The Hawkseye.
As long as the jar looks ok, it should be fine.
Keep me in mind for a print trade if things work out!

Only if Omni had an opposing beter, he would be $20 richer.  The cake came through, it showed signs of primordia like 5 days ago, and pinned today :smile2: YAY!  Alright, so after all, I have new gained knowledge that mycelium could survive an 8 month fridge hibernation.  I will get around to a camera and snap some shots.  Just to remind everyone, I'm fruiting this sucker in a 'Igloo' brand water cooler you see hot soccer moms take to practice or a game.  It has a 1 gallon capacity, instead of perlite there's preboiled paper towels =P and it's topped off with seran wrap.... bitchin
I busted out a humidifier early today and I think that's what triggered the pinning.  So this Yunnan strain will hopefully start fruiting like a gay lover, and that's all I have to say about that (nothing against gay peeps, it just sounds comical to me)

To everyone who sent good vibes, I will try to get some prints out to you =)
