Has anyone used the shroom wizards grow method? I would be interested in hearing any successes/failures.

I have its been three week's and no growth in my jar's i have six of his brf with one of his syrenge's of tresure cost spore's and no luck yet yes i do have an incubatorit stays @ 85 i dont know what went wrong mabe it was my bad

well i was lookin' for a link to another post i wrote regardin' the wizard's method... but aparently it was during the week that never was

anyway, i think his tek is a good tek, but the casing method with a soil/verm casing layer and no terrarium leaves some to be desired. unless you're living in a very humid area, the casing layer will not be able to provide enough of a humid micro-climate for the fruiting of the shroomies. i'd recommend using his substrate prep method as well as hit pot-sterilization method (if you don't have a pressure cooker)... then after they're all colonized, just use a verm only casing tek like the one found at mycotopia.net in the TEK section under "hongus casing tek"... in fact, heres a link

btw - the addition of soil in the casing makes an easy entrance for contams if you're not careful... being that verm has no nutritious value, it is much less likely to get contaminated.
