I can totally relate.

I am paying $60 some a month for fucking garbage. There is never anything on. I get Starzz, HBO, and Cinemax for free (whoopy-doo) for six months and then they will start charging me. I have not watched them once.

The internet is so much more interesting.

Way to go man, I don't have cable either. Shit, I can't even get the basic channels with a rabbit ear antenna because of the mountains around. Not paying for that crap is a smart decision, you aren't missing anything.

you will need a news reader to download from newsbins. I use GrabIt .

I pay for access to news groups, which is unnescessary but better, through www.newshosting.com . its $15 a month and worth it.

otherwise you can find your free server from your isp using this site.

Then you can search for files using:
www.nzbzone.com (if you make a donation they will let you have access otherwise it is always busy. I made a $.30 donation using the change in my paypal account and it worked.)
www.binsearch.info

You will also need winrar
to extract the files, and QuickPar to repair the rar files.
