I fucking hate banks/loaners

Trying to get a loan for classes next semester and I get fucking denied. Why? Not enough credit history! I have had a steady job for over 3 and a half years, and have had solid, PERFECT credit for the past 20 months. I have a cell phone account, auto insurance, a 7500 auto loan, and 3 lines of credit with $4500, 2500, and 1500 limits. Never made a late payment, never went over my limits, and yet I can't get a fucking $2000 loan! I hate credit and all the bullshit associated with it. I feel like throwing a brick through my bank's window.

Yeah, a lot of banks are really tightening up credit requirements. The years of easy credit are behind us, alas..... :frown:

The point of getting the student loan is the deferred payment option. I'm not about to put $650 worth of classes and an extra $150 in books on one of my credit cards.

I'm thinking of breaking someones head. Seriously, the company that does the education loan issues the loan through Charter One bank. I have done business with Charter One for well over a year and a half now. I'm going to go into one of the local branch offices tomorrow and demand these assholes give me the loan so I can further my education. Otherwise I will take my business, of which there is plenty, elsewhere.
