What volumes of dicks picks are the best?
    #4981101 -

I bought vol 20 today and I love it. But it seems that Ive already heard these takes of live songs before perhaps on Jam On from the satelite or somewhere else. What are your favorites?

Total abstinence is so excellent a thing that it cannot be carried to too great an extent. In my passion for it I even carry it so far as to totally abstain from total abstinence itself.

16 is my favorite by far. I love the extended jam spanning the second and third disc. NO stop. :-)

Where do you find most of these? My record shop only had two volumes. Of course it was a major mainstream record store with little rare stuff.

I've lost disc 2 of Dick's Pick's #3 (5/22/77). Does anybody out there have that disc that they could copy for me?

I like to stay between 68 and 74 as a general rule of thumb, sometimes I venture into the future, but It's usually not as sweet to my tastes.
