8th is the standard purchase here, unless a couple friends throw in for an O, but then again...we're not huge potheads.

I have really only heard "eighth" for an 1/8 of an ounce. But in certain areas up north, I have heard people use "cut" for an eighth.

Dime Bags, Dubs, Nickles, or whatever silly names are ghetto. IMO.

Half quarter = half of a quarter ounce...

Eighth is the correct term, but people around ONTARIO (not just the t. dot) use the slang "half quarter" for some odd reason.

I'd say it's fair to say it's of southern Ontarian origin.. Kind of feels good to have our own word.. We should have an Ontario gathering where we'll smoke half-quarter joints..
