Important dosage question

It's rather difficult for my friends and I to find shrooms or acid: noone seems to have it, and if someone claims that he can get it, he never does.
However, one of my friends finally managed to get ripped off (badly) and buy 1/4 of an OZ for $300 (or so he claims). Him being a good friend, I buy his story. He tried the shrooms and says that they work well. They are supposed to be strong in low dosages (i'm thinking cyans? not sure), and he is willing to let me go for 1/4 of an 8th for $30. He says that this will probably be about 3 stems and 1 cap maybe. Will this be enough to give me a level 2 or 3 trip?
He says that the stems are rather long... I'll try to see what kinda shrooms they are. Oh, and this is for my first trip.

1/8 is about 3.5 grams.

1/4 of 1/8 is 1/32 or about 0.9 grams.

That will most likely barely give you a level 1 if anything at all.

He's trying to rip you off.

1/8 goes for 20-30 $.

If he paid 300$ for a 1/4 then he deserves to die for his stupidity.

he certainly did not buy a 1/4 for 300 bucks. he is merely telling you this so that he can rip you off.
a 1/4 of an 1/8 should cost around ummm...5 bucks?? lol...nobody buys in that small amounts.
yeah, .9 grams will give a mild mild trip, threashold effects.

Well I'm sure its possible he did get initially ripped off but you'd be a fool to get involved in it. Unfortunately you are going to have to wait this one out if you want to have any positive opinion on the effects of mushrooms. I personally believe that the love that goes into growing them is an important factor in enjoying them

Though I know little about the average price of an ounce it would likely be an oz for $300 (worst case scenario).

Its not going to cost that much to get some jars growing and in reality one jar should produce around 4 times the amount you're paying for.

$10 spore syringe, a few bucks for vermiculite and brown rice flour. 2L bottle to fruit the jar.. The satisfaction that these are the fruits of your labour starting your trip off in a positive mindset? priceless.
