since i don't do shroomies very often i always get really exicted in the days before and usually write out a checklist of stuff i want to make sure to have on hand during the trip, any body else do this? what are things you usually have that aren't neccicarily trip toys?
here is my list for this friday's trip=):
-2/8's of shrooms (for two people)
-christmas lights and black light
-some weed if i feel like it, however i never feel the urge to smoke up during a trip unless i'm alone
-pens paper etc.
-warm cloths (it is supposed to snow )
-orange twirly thing (hard to explain, it is a large 2 foot diameter triangle of plastic that spins lines of balck and orange around that is black light responsive)
-philosophical questions previously written by a friend for me to answer
Let's see...starting with negatives;
I prefer not to have writing utensils on hand unless I eat a light dose. I don't want to have to focus my energy into something so small and thereby tire myself out (mentally) and distract my mind from what COULD be happening...heh. As far as mixing drugs goes, I never mix shroomies with anything other than weed because a man-made and a nature-pure don't mix well (I am a purist and worshiper of nature). So, Nitrous is out. :) That said, the list is short and simple.
--A quiet place - I don't like too many people around me (misanthropy, isn't it a bitch?)...especially children of friends.
--Visual Aides - candles are nice; video games (up until I am near my peak), if I will be outside I love to have Mary Jane on hand. Cleaning a handful in the dark then sparking a lighter to check for seeds is a good way to knock yourself over. :)
--Lots of Nature - I like a quiet, outdoor trip where I can commune with Nature. I tend to go into fits of realization and spiritual enlightenment (discovery of the purpose for humanity, a day in the life of a tree, etc.). I also LOVE to talk to trees (not to mention smoking pot with them...they love to toke up).
--Philosophical questions - works too, but I don't want to have to read them. I want to have a friend on hand to pose the questions for discussion. :)
