that is pretty damn funny! hundred and some dollars for a hawaiian print... then they have this: 'Tampanensis' - Psilocybe tampanensis - 1 syringe - US$47 and 'Hawaiian Tampanensis A+' - Psilocybe tampanensis - 1 spore print - US$N/A Hawaiian tampanensis.... hhmmmmmmm sounds like a bunch of crap to me.. Or maybe someone grew them who lives in hawaii, sent them back a print, hence the name... lol

Just checking out there site - its funny that they have a few tampanensis strains when 95% of the tam. isolates available come from the one original wild print :-) Psilocybe Hybridensis is actually just a red looking cubensis and a picture is on the sporeworks site under cubensis (mixed strains)... As for the Balinese cubensis - im interested!!! My friend only found coplandia/pans for sale there though

Folks, this site IS NOT PES's webpage! I do not beleive they have ever had a webpage. This is somebody else who has acquired/cultivated PES strains and is now reselling these on their own, thats all. I did business with PES many times over a three year period. Yes their spores cost alot ...yes they are of high quality ...and yes they have good customer service/relations. Normally you must order via mail (credit card orders via a toll free number is offered too) from their (PES's) catalogue/flier. Which is obtained by writing the company for one (cost $2 ?). In fact, I paid the $125 (in '97) and bought the Ps tamps from PES. I received a live culture in a sealed petrie dish! Further, it fruited well on a rye/rice/verm substrate cased with the 'old Oneric & Oss casing recipe. Potency/effects of their Ps tamp strain is moderate and refined in nature. Very much like quality Ps cubensis, only much heavier. Kind of the difference between drinking brandy versus wine. VERY dreamy. The site you folks are talking about here sure looks suspect to me too! Please don't confuse it with the actual PES company. Why am I defending this company? Because PES spores ushered me into the mushroom experience and they have a warm spot in my heart

P.E.S. is a quality company, one of the frontrunners in this business. As for the other guys selling a 'Ps. hybridnis', well anybody that makes up scientific names has got to be suspect. I wouldn't pay too much for the Balinese they *say* they have.

"well anybody that makes up scientific names has got to be suspect." I assume that your 1/4 million dollar "spore-fuge" does not apply to this Capn? lol

I had heard PES was out of business so I ventured to the vendors forum. Though PES is high priced and of late may have misidentified (Ps. azurescens hybrid etc.) they were among the first and offerred some of the best prints (dark, ample, fertile). Though I deal with them less frequently now they still also hold a special place in my heart and if they are still in business I will remain a loyal customer.
