I was just wondering what the status is on hanky's unjust permaban? Any decisive actions, perhaps?


I know i'm not the only one wondering. Thanks for any info.

Nothing is taking so long, because there is no pending action that is being delayed. Thor merely stated that he would look into the matter, he did and he received a lengthy post explicating the reasons behind the ban. The "Hanky" account has been decommissioned and unless you actually see that account in use, there is no reason to expect that it will be unbanned.

It should be noted that general playful harassment is tolerated when confined to the OTD forum; however, anything that threatens the legal security of our users or the community at large, will not be tolerated. If we overlooked such past instances, this still does not justify continued ignorance of the site-wide policy and hopefully it is now clearer than ever.
