Mushroom tester kits?

I just started my first batch of shrooms and was talking to an experienced shroom friend (but who had never tried to grow them). He said growing them yourself is dangerous because the shrooms are bad a lot of the times (like, bad when you take them), but suggested i should get a mushroom tester kit... Couple things, if there is no mold or bacteria or funny colors/smells the shrooms should be ok, right? And second, is there a mushroom tester kit to see if it has any contams or is poisinous or anything? (Yay theyre colonizing good)

No ofensie... But what is a "a mushroom tester kit"?

Dude if the strain (spores) is from a trusted source and the "fruits" resemble healthy pics on this site you should be ok!

you know i find that the case w/ a lot of ppl also. most people i talk to are like 'youre growing shrooms? i wouldnt eat thos e because some can be poisonus' and im like 'theyre ALL gonna be poisonous to some extent :)' and even some people wont even believe me that you cant get a 'bad batch' or a single bad shroom when growing. i cannot understand where people get these ideas. i guess they just cant relate to the whole process of growing and mother nature. i mean; how would you grow a bunch of casings that are amazonian strain going to produce a singe mushroom or a flush that produces anything else but that type of mushroom? its just not possible.

Yeah, everybody is all retarded when they find out youre growing... in reality, those are the safest shrooms, because you know what they are, how they were grown, and that theyre not poison, or laced with anything... But i talked to a hippy teacher of mine and he said there was mushroom testers, he knew his cousin had one, but he wasnt sure what exactly it measured or anything... anyone have a shroomy tester or heard of them?
