I've only cracked one safe and had the help of two older friends. It was one of the old sentry safes. (could have dated back to around 1900, very well could have dated pre 1900 if they made safes that far back) It probably weighed around 2 or 300 lbs including what was inside. It was a heavy sob. It took a lot of drilling, hammering, and the use of a crow-bar to get that fucker open. Not to mention asbestos flying everywhere. Was not very fun. :thumbdown:

hell my friend's older brother used to rob people he knew/hated for a living. he could crack a safe, no problem. always dumbfounded me. him and like two other guys (All three were heroin addicts, but real big)- couple crow bars, stake a house out. Crazy fucks, mostly robbing for drugs/cash.

i've seen em crack open even the biggest/newest looking safe. i never knew how the did it though..


if the safe can be carried out of your house (even by two or three guys i'm talking) then you can get fucked. simple as that. big ass ones, bolted down into the ground are normally harder to break into. i don't think they ever did jobs like that.
