Guy at work broke his foot yesterday

so yesterday at the last 15min of work and Overweight(really heavy package) came down the belt for a guy in the back. the guy picks it up off the belt and the bottom gives way and 140lbs of machine parts came crashing down onto his foot. everyone who saw it rushed over to him right away because he was on the ground screaming. today we herd from our super that he broke his foot so he will be outta work for awhile. he was a cool guy to. only Asian dude i have ever met with the name "bob" we call him.

Working for UPS, I know from experience that people rarely use common sense in packing stuff. This one chick ships 20 boxes every day to Goldsboro, NC from a metal fittings company. Filled with 50-60 pounds of brass washers and small pipe pieces....

She puts them in flimsy cardboard boxes w/ ONE piece of tape. If they get wet at all, all the stuff comes pouring out the bottom when you pick it up.

for 2 years she's done this. Ridiculous.

I broke a foot once.... glad it wasnt mine.

Just kidding it was mine and it hurt so bad. I folded my foot in half in my boot, Then had to ride down the mountain on my but strap back in and ride the lift back up the mountain where i then did some crazy shit to get of the lift.
2 weeks goes by no doctor and it was turning blue and i couldnt fit my shoe on any more. Ouch so yeah broken feet suck!!!!!!!!!!!!!

a can of black beans fell out of my grocery cart
yesterday right on to my bare (flipflops) foot.

it seemed bad at the time, but it doesn't hold a
candle to 140 lbs of machine parts!
