Yeah the one I have now. OMR said if I posted in the Pub with my current avatar he would ban me.

Btw, although it wasn't me the one who got you banned, i believe there are enough reasons to do it.

It's not a secret some members are trying to sabotage S&M by exploiting the rules while they are not finally set. Some other members are falling for it and getting into the game.

To all this people, you're free to do it but the moderation is also free to lock, move and delete any thread, and to warn or ban any member not respecting the rules in this moment of change.

Why do you always say "got you banned"? It's like you are trying to divert attention away from you. You should say "did/didn't ban you."

You really believe there are enough reasons to ban him from one statement? Wouldn't a warning be better?

You and things you say constantly, seem to be mockery to the skeptics.

Grudges are the reason.

Paradigm, you DID speak up for me after my unjust ban. Did you expect mod bias to suddenly disappear?

Where is the intention to ridicule? What beliefs am I mocking in this play on words?

You must agree with Shroomism and are only allowed to be abducted by grey aliens - that is the rule.

I was told it was personal and a residue from last year's ban. The technical term is a 'shit list'. BTW I am still banned for merely posting a mythological subject - and I am the first ever to do such a thing on that forum, everyt other topic is totally fact-based.

My first ban was admitted to be a 'lifetime achievement award' as the mods stated I broke no technical rule, but the spirit of S&P.

What I'd like to know, is why Swami isn't allowed in the Philosophy forum. Instead, he's permitted in the S&M forum... How ironic, and quite frankly, ridiculous.

Mods? Admins?

They corrected their 'error' and now I am banned in both. This is yet another Shroomery / Swami first.

He can be whatever he wants to be, as long as he respects the rules.

Why Swami was banned ?

a) On Drama Queens & Hate Magnets

When someone gets on the bad side of the community and continues to act out, bringing the wrath of our more vocal members upon themselves and generally becoming a detriment to the health and harmony of the boards, they will be processed in accordance with the On Banning clause above.

b) No Baiting/Trolling

Baiting is a circumstance characterized by one individual attempting to lure others into an argument with subtly incendiary remarks. Baiting differs from flaming in that the intent is to provoke rather than to hurt. "Baiting" is more commonly known as "Trolling". If you feel you are being unfairly trolled then PM a forum moderator.

When someone gets on the bad side of the community
Members with over 90% favorable ratings are usually deemed on the bad side of the community - if the community consists solely of three or four fluffily-biased people in a position of some power itching to demonstrate their superior spirituality.

bringing the wrath of our more vocal members
The quiet members do not count. It is the few who shout loudest that get their way. This is fair and balanced.

Of course the vocal members that have protested such bannings do NOT count; only those shouting "Off with his head!" have value.

I've started acclimating to the Shroomery Police State in much the same way that when a cop in the real world stops me, wants to search me, give me orders, whatever, I immediately comply regardless of whether or not what they are doing is right (or even legal).

If that poor 64 year old guy in LA. hadn't made the mistake of telling a cop he was rude for interrupting his conversation, he wouldn't have been beaten nearly to death.

I'm smarter than that guy. I know that obeying arbitrary orders and self-censoring to avoid saying anything that might possibly be taken as inappropriate is the only way to avoid a ban; it is the only True path for a Shroomerite.

Yessum! I'll be more careful what I say... don't wanna anger The Man.

Republican Values:

1) You can't get married to your spouse who is the same sex as you.
2) You can't have an abortion no matter how much you don't want a child.
3) You can't have a certain plant in your possession or you'll get locked up with a rapist and a murderer.

4) We need a smaller, less-intrusive government.

I am not that intelligent. :frown:

Sometimes the arbitrary order (like "Don't piss us off!") is just too arbitrary to follow even if you want to.

Face it: Arguing legitimate points never solved anything in the world. Real protest needs to involve some sort of martyrdom(and I don't think the bannings seem to be working). Maybe you should take a cue from this guy:
