if u have read his journals, as i have, its possible to believe she killed him.. i mean towards the end of his journal he is pretty happy.. right before his death, but either way he was an amazing artist who def inspired me with all that he went thru in life to become successful..id highly reccomend his journals to anyone who is interested in learning about him

People who decide to kill themselves often plan it months if not years ahead of time. So near the end they appear to others to be happy or content because they have come to except their decision and are at peace with themselves. Thats just common knowledge in the suicide arena.

I heard that in grade school he once told a teacher or someone that he want'ed to grow up to be famous and then kill himself. I read that in a biography about him when I was 16-17 when I used to be obsesed.

But yes I thought he had great song writing and lyric talent but they really where just a power chord band instrumentally. Sometimes thats all you need though I guess.

But once you grow out of Nirvana and want to move up to something more complicated I suggest Alice in Chains. They own Nirvana.

I agree. He wa an amazing and inspiring artist.

But I don't think you can say it was his life so he can kill himself if he wants too. Didn't he have a child? I know at the least he had millions of fans that cared about him and wanted to see him continue to succeed. No disrespect meant, but that's a very selfish thing to do when so many people are counting on you. I really wish he would have taken that into consideration before he did what he did.

Yeah I see what you mean dude. He would have ended up dying a decade later like layne staley though most likely.

Found dead a week after he expired in his apartment from a massive heroin(maybe speedball) overdose. They must have discovered him because of the smell since no one seemed to care about him enough to be checking on him regularly at them time. Very sad.

Yes that is sad.

His massive drug use must have alienated him from friends and family. Not to blame anyone, but it's too bad someone didn't step up and get him some help. Same with Cobain.

The thing that sucks is your family can't "Get" you help, you have to want it. Apparently neither of them wanted it. Cobain "Got" help ie was pressured into rehab by family and friends only to run away the first chance he got. The thing thats sad is often times by the time a junky wants to change its too late like when Jerry tried checking into rehab and died of a heart attack that night.

From what I understand, all the fame got to him. He didn't want to be famous. I think that, combined with the drugs led to his demise.

Dude being addicted to herion is a Big problem. Shit he didn't just "Do" heroin like you say he was a full blown junky. You need to read a third party biography on the dude if you have any doubts about it.

I remember listening to alot of Guns N Roses and Metallica before Nirvana came out. Then they hit and blew everyone else out of the water. Bands like Nirvana and Pearl Jam just exploded. I like them all.

Kurt Cobain stated in an interview that he had no problem with Eddie Vedder but simply hated Pearl Jam's music.

And I believe it is a man's choice to take his own life, regardless of whatever moral conflict others may perceive.
