have any of you guys been? and tell me some interesting things that happened there? and any information. because i am probably going in 2006, hoping the government does not shut it down with all of the bullshit they have been pulling recently. well maybe not recently, but they always seem to pull some stupid bullshit.

It was a decent festival, but if you can make 10,000 Lakes or Wakarusa, I'd go to either one of those instead. If you can do all three, have at it.

The Schwag is a decent Dead cover band. Their versions of Terrapin Station and Touch of Grey this year were excellent. Melvin Seals was also top notch.

The venue is great. There is a creek, swimming, and mountains. A friend complained that some of the crowd were too sketchy for him. I guess I'm used to festivals so that aspect didn't bother me too much.

Everything you might want to obtain was available there. Rumor has it, though, that the police were checking people in Salem, so most people detoured around it on the way home.
