ALSA Microphone loopback

Well I was reading around here and saw a lot about linux and it made me relapse into trying ubuntu. So I get it all set up and try to get my mic working for teamspeak... and if it isn't muted all the input comes out of my headphones. I can post what amixer returns if needed.

Have you checked to see if it is enabled in the mixer app? If you are using gnome just check the gnome control center. The mic is always off by default. What game are you using teamspeak for?

tc:e, I figured it out aswell, I had to turn the volume on AC_97 in alsamixer, never would've guessed it. if you play tc:e you should pm and we'll play.
