TECHNICALLY Bruce Lee would loose that would be the educated guess.

But as long as we are talking about dead people fighting living people why not make it fair and bend the rules little bit :rolleyes:

A Bruce Lee with the same principals,skill, and training in Mixed Martial arts today would beat Silva bad.He was too strong, waaay to quick.

Silva is just as strong and quick.

They also started training at the same age, except Silva was never distracted by a career in acting.

Silva has WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYY more experience in actual fighting.

JKD is something nice to watch but it's a thing of the past (traditional JKD)

I train in martial arts, so I don't overlook the styles as much as other people in this thread might.

JKD is amazing, beautiful, lucid, flowing, but traditional JKD just isn't efficient at getting the job done.

Modern day JKD is pretty damn efficient though.

It incorporates many styles Lee never knew of though.

Thats what im talking about, why would this matter now. you drop off a young bruce in 1990, in the same state of mind he was at and he would have lots of fighting expirience too.Factor in his physical abilities and he would have the edge i think.

But JKD in it's original definition is not any style. Maybe since Bruce died the JKD 'masters' have defined its style... but by definition JKD is open to any styles. You could use a muay thai kick in JKD, or a jujitsu armbar, or a Krav Maga hold.. it doesn't matter, as long as it works efficiently. That's the true JKD. JKD was based on Kung Fu, and said I will not be limited by one particular style.. I will take what works best from ANY style, and adapt it to fit my needs.

There is honestly no way in hell of figuring out.

All you can accuratley do is compare the Bruce Lee that was and the Silva that is.

Yeah, he looks good when he's fighting one person. But there's no way anyone can come close to the style Bruce Lee has while taking down 5-10 people at a time.

Ali is definatly the most stylish boxer of all time though, I give him props for that.
