Winamp 5.1 just came out.

So... Winamp 5.1 just came out. 109 of me and Eo.S.' milkdrop presets are included.

So, in order to view them, go to www.winamp.com , and download the 'Full' or 'Bundle' version.

Then while in winamp, on the bar the help button rests on, right click, select visualization, roll over to 'Select Visualization', and then pick milkdrop from the list.

Milkdrop defaults to 30 fps, so while in the Winamp Preferences box, if you have a good graphics card, change the box titled Max Framerate to unlimited.

While in milkdrop press F8 to get a list of presets. Then Press E, or P to go to Eo.S or Phat's presets. (also anything titled Eo.S or Phat remix or edit is also ours)

If anyone has any questions, just ask.

Is 5.1 more stable? 5.09 is buggy as hell. And it seems ever since AOL bought up Nullsoft Winamp has become so bulky and slow.

Milkdrop is only THE greatest visualization plugin WinAmp has ever had.  I dig it!  :grin:

As for WA 5.1, I haven't had any problems yet and the surround feature is something it's been lacking for a loooong time.  So far so good. :shrug:

But kudos to the artists who make the presets, I've spent many an intoxicated and sober night watching those.  :heart: :thumbup:

Yea, milkdrop is the best. Been programming a Dx9 update of it, but I still need my ATI gurl to do some more stuff...
