It comes bundled with Winamp. http://www.winamp.com/

The better you're video card the better.

Just save the unzip the file in to ProgramFiles/Winamp/Winamp.exe/Plugins/Milkdrop

(If you start a new folder in the milkdrop folder and put them in there, you can access it by pressing F8)

All the functions in milkdrop you can get to from the F1 command.

Um basicly you right click on winamp till you get a drop down menu that has...

Visualizations > Configure Plugin

Or at least thats how it works in Winamp 3. 5 might be different but I have never downloaded it.

I think the short cut is ALT k

There is one called Project M.

Haven't used it, because I use PC.

It's basicly a Milkdrop Linix/Mac Clone.

yea, we use that program all the time to help us write music basicly.

It always helps when you can see the music. I didn't start off with any synastesia, but now I have alot of it. Not just colors but 3d objects that respond to the music. But that's just because we have spent so much time writing visualization code for music.

If anyone has a vidio card that can do 75-85 FPS with milkdrop, like a 9700 or better, check out Eo.S's Nemotodes, Chasers, and Glow Sticks presets.

Also Phat's (that's me) Mandala Chasers presets.

3d stuff looks really really cool at like 85 fps, because thats about as fast as you're brain takes in the world, so they end up looking real.

Yea, so does everyones. Last update of Winamp they told us our presets where getting bunndled, but they never were. Now they want me and Eo.S to pick 6 of each of ours...

So spread this link to anyone you know that has milkdrop, otherwise most of them will go unseen.

i believe the command menu appears by pressing the F1 button with MilkDrop, correct me if I'm wrong. You can find a lot of powerful features there.

That is correct. F8 brings up you're list of presets.

You can author/remix presets by pressing the 'm' butten. It's kinda hard to find the doccumentation on how to author presets, but I could help anyone that is interested.
