Oh god no, I have ate a few doses and drank a case of Coronas. I don't even weigh 150 pounds.

As far as "bad trips". You need a fun trip buddy. Mine is awesome, you couldn't have a bad trip around this kid in a million years.

I would greatly recommend the pan Cyancean strains for the most visual trips. Eaten fresh is better for most of that psilocin is retained. As far as Cubies are concerened, I hvae heard that the Amazonian is the best Visual out of them all....but if you ask me, a Cube is a Cube.

No way - alcohol has no effect - and it actually mitigates the hypoglycemia and possible anxiety of the shroom 'come-up'. I often drink with my shrooms - once the shroom kicks in the booze wares off...

gettin off topic but IMO a few beers might be beneficial for the onset or comedown of a trip but as far as drinkin eneouph to get slightly drunk...I would'nt recommend it. The two just dont seem to mix well in my stomach....and besides there are so many other things which are good for mixin with shrooms such as weed and nitrous. I know from previous posts that MJ is'nt a fan of poly drug use and I agree to an extent that there is nothing like a clean spiritual mushroom trip....but I as well as many people on this forum are in the experimental stage rather than a wise veteran shroomer who has been shot across the universe a few times. Personally I like smokin a little weed and hitting some nitrous with my shrooms but everyone has there preferences.

Actualy I read somewhere that achol surpresses the firing of neurons in the brain,
Which would shorten the effect of shrooms .

As for libs mmme there amazing the best shrooms I have ever had, Just wish they could be grown easily.

If i smoke weed i feel myself going into a huge headfuck, but with shrooms i'm always fine. But with weed i have had weird experiences a lot worse than mushrooms.

i think interpretation of the trip is the biggest problem, people often interperate feelings as being negative when its just really nothing much than a harmless feeling. Also i think people just have to take a big deep breath or many at that, shallow breathing which basically decreases levels of oxygen to the brain for one makes the heart race faster, causing anxiety and negative out of the blue thoughts which cause even more anxiety sending someone into a bad trip.

ative is good and sure is fun which is important but i think during a trip one needs to have a chill and relax time. When i do this the visuals increase and with the help of music increases even more. I do think when being active or even concentrating on something eg. I often get on my turntables and have a mix, my visuals almost go away completely but if i get off them relax for a minute their back.

As i've learnt with weed, the way to avoid negative thoughts is to take away what is associated with it. Often tripping with other people can cause people to go into bad trips i reckon.

As you can see by the number of different answers, disagreements, opinions, there IS NO set reference as to what strain does more or less of anything.
Its like if I were to say: "Coors gives me a more of a horney drunk, Budweiser gives you a more energetic clear thinking drunk, and Miller-Lifgt is more of a fall on your ass kind of funny drunk

Im sorry I cant really reccommend any good strains that I dont think have mindfuck but I can say that I have found a way to avoid it myself that I personally use.

In my opinion the key to avoiding mindfuck truly is keeping your attention on something else , whenever im staring at something its less time my brain has the power to start th inking intense thoughts that lead to introspective thoughts.... everytime you start having a bad trip just make it your last time... so tell yourself to enjoy it because its your last.

But WHY avoid "mind-fuck"? I don't think that it's "healthy" to take psychedelic drugs - especially mushrooms - for pure pleasure. It's profanation of a religious tool or even sacrament. I know that I may sound strange but why do you take mushrooms when you have less "mind-fuck" LSD?

I understand that some of you can be an "adventurous" types but I'm that "shamanic-mystical" type and visuals are pretty - right, but they aren't goal. If someone has a very intense introspective session than that person should accept what she learned about her self - not try to avoid the truth. You cannot escape from it on the long run.

I hope that I didn't sounded to fanatical. Clearly I'm taking this very serious. I respect mushrooms and I feel that treating them as toys is a serious profanation. You all are going to hell :wink:

I for one do not consider shrooms to be any kind of sacrement for myself.
The experiences they provide are awe inspiring to be sure, but I place no value on spiritual explainations of such events.

The body is chemical in nature.

Bio-chemistry can explain many things. Astronomy also. Still there is the magickal side of reality that is beyond science. There are esoteric experiences that cannot be explained by some substances traveling through your veins. Especially if you can trigger them without taking anything.

Of course, you need some level of magickal senses developed to notice or even trigger some things.

hella distraction is key. and whenever you start getting bogged down with thoughts, having a change in environments ie: a diff room, goin outside for a smoke, takin a piss. anything to distract ya helps wonders. sometimes i totally forget what to do and how to act.

i also for one just rely on lower doses to get the job done, that way if i do fail at staying distracted its not the end of the world. simply inconvenient. wish i could get my thoughts out better than this. also, only strain i can talk about are tazmanians which i thought were very visual up til about 3hours then the thoughts would come.
