DMT Extraction -- quick question!

AFOAF is using Marsofold's Tek (http://www.dmtworld.org/showthread.php?t=226) for his first DMT extraction and misunderstood the first step. He put the 1-Pint White Vinegar & 3-1/2 Quarts Water in the crock pot all at once, and then that amount again in the next crock pot extraction step.

So effectively, I guess he will have double the amount of liquid he is supposed to? The tek is a bit vague with regard to this but I assume they mean only to use that amount of vinegar and water for BOTH extraction steps and not EACH step. Am I right?

What can he do to make this still work? No other steps have been done yet.

I think so, just go ahead with the rest of the process, keeping the proportions for each step (i.e. defating, polar wash) and you should be fine :thumbup: Worked great for me, but I would suggest you to re-cristallyze the product following  Heraclitu's TEK, trust me you don't want impure product on your lungs, it hurts like a mofo :sad:

BTW, DMTworld is the perfect place to go for this kind of things, I'm a regular there and I would trust those guys with my life, they're THAT knowledgeable :smile:

Yeah definatley check out DMTworld...using marsfold's tek if you are going to do two extractions you divide your vinegar/water mixture into two equal parts...if you are following marsfold's first tip for greater yield you do three extractions with 50% of the water/vingar mixture in the first one and 25% in the remaining extractoins...

Not sure how doubling the water/vinegar is going to affect your results. I would post this question on the DMTworld forum...

Most likely reduce (fast boil) by half and proceed as instucted.

On second thought, you'll likely need to add extra lye-solution to get the ph right...keep adding till solution is black...then add a bit more for good measure.
