Hi everyone , AFOAF is at a point where allmost all of his jars are 100% but in some water is starting to collect in the jars , he was wanting to wait til all were 100% to birth and move to ter. but at close examination it seem some spots on the cakes are starting to minorly turn yellow , i read somewhere that this could be due to water collecting in the jars , but due to his inexperience he was worried that this could possibly be a contam . the cakes have been colonising for 27 days now and all but 2 are 100% covered with there begining layer of myc. he also wanted to wait maybe an extra week to let the network more fuly develop but at the same time more and more in verry slight amounts the water collection is increasing and is also noticing more yellowing , please any help and suggestions are deeply apprciated , thx for your time in reading my post. peace.

Don't worry about the yollow thing, it happens and is infact because of water. I've tried lossening thr lids to get rid of the exess water but it dosent work however I don't even think the water is even a problem.
Try this- loosen the lids on the 100% cakes and then turn upside down, Then tamp down the cake so that it drops down a little and creates some space at the bottom of the jar. Then just let the mycelium get more established for another ten days or so while kept in the upside down position. This will allow some air transfer to start inducing the pinning cycle while the mycelium continues to grow.
If you have a problem with the bottoms colonizing this works great to fill in that space but don't loosen the lid untill its 100%
