Went on my second hunt today and found alot of fungi that I don't have a clue what they are and I would apreciate it if some one could give me a vague idea:
1st: * Habitat: (Britain, woods in a fern bush by some dead wood growing in soil on moist ground with dead leaves on, couldn't tell you what type of wood though. * Characteristics of the pores: yellow and quite small. * Characteristics of the stem: 80mm long, 15mm wide at the top to 20mm at the bottom, mid-brown, slightly rubbery, looks very solid but I think it maybe slightly hollow. * Characteristics of the cap: 45-65mm, dark deep chocolate brown, smooth, slightly soft but rubbery, convex. * Spore print: yellow * Color that the mushroom bruises: no visable bruising. * Scent of the mushroom: strong can't describe the smell though.
1st mushroom pic:
2nd: * Habitat: (Britain, woods in a fern bush growing on some dead wood, couldn't tell you what type of wood though. * Characteristics of the gills: can't see any gills at all. * Characteristics of the stem: 10-25mm long, 2-6mm wide, slightly yellow, rubbery, hollow. * Characteristics of the cap: 4-11mm, dark red slightly pink, smooth, convex. * Spore print: can't obtain a print. * Color that the mushroom bruises: no visable bruising. * Scent of the mushroom: mild, grassy, soily smell.
2nd mushroom pic:
I've got a various other fungi but because of various time restriction and me being lazy I'm just posting these two most interesting ones.
Thanks for your time.

Whats with the fuzzy sepia photos??? Makes it a lot harder to ID
All I can tell you is the second and third pic you posted are of the boletaceae family.

Sorry, the closest thing I've got to a digital camera is my webcam, which I found so its not the best quality.
I Googled Boletaceae and it looks promising but if someone could give me a rough idea of the species I would be thankful.
Anyone any thought's on the 2nd mushroom?

The first is a boletaceae that is probably Boletus badius, although the pores should stain slightly blue if it is.
The second I honestly can't help you.

Thanks for all the feedback guys.
Sweetleaf, I doutb that the first mushroom is Boletus Badius because the pores don't stain blue they just leave a yellow print and smell bad.
I couldn't get a shot of the gills of the second one because the veil was still joined to the stem/cap and therefore couldn't even get a print.
Atleast it's coming up to prime time for Libs in England
Thanks.
