Sporeless syringe?

I ordered an Puerto Rican syringe from Sporeworks and when the syringe arrived I was disappointed to see that the syringe looked like pure water. Now 2 weeks after innoculation I am disappointed again to see no growth. This leads me to believe that I got a sporeless syringe. Anyone have opinions on this or perhaps tell me what I should do?

sorry to hear about your misfortune, but i do not really know what you can do about that. Most of the companies are pretty honest, and I bet you could write them and they would send you another syringe.
About the cow shit thing. ONly use old shit. Fresh stuff is filled with all kinds of bacteria that can be damaging to your mushies. Also they are mush harder to collect, and smell a lot worse.

Want a dark syringe? Try: The Hawk's Eye website. He might take a good 3 weeks to deliver, but it's worth the wait.

Guys, if you actually took the time to make your own syringes you would realise that from a good quarter-sized print, you can make say 4/5 syringes that will all work perfectly, but will have no visible spores, or you can waste the entire print on one or two syringes to make them look 'full' of spores as half a print is in there that will make your print go less...

I also just recieved 4 puerto rican syringes in the mail from Sporeworks (in lightning speed i might add, thanks) And at a glance they do look like clear water. But held up to the light there is no doubt that there are tiny spores floating around in there.

maybe you got a syringe from a low germination batch of Puerto's like I did.
It took about 3 weeks for signs of growth (only germinated in 1 spot) kinda weird I thought and 2+ months to fully colonize.I didn't mind to much though as I was busy with other things.IT worked out in the end though.
I can send you a Puerto Rican print if you like!
Then you can make a syringe to your liking.

Sporeworks gets the spores distributed pretty evenly through the syringes. There are spores in there, if you didn't have germination you made a mistake. Sometimes cakes take a long ass time to show growth, I'd give it a few more days and maybe try making a new batch of jars and innoculate those too. Sometimes preparation can dry out your substrate, or make it absorb too much water for the mycelium to grow in quickly.

I was talking 2 my frend the other day and he was complaining about the same thing with the puertos from spore works.. NOthing but pure water. but keep in mind that spores are microscopic so you wouldnt see them in the first place. you not seeing them just means that it has a low content of spores. Try out hawks eye. I ordered from him and i have clumps flying everywere in my syringe. But he did give me Lipa Ya instead of Koh Samui :( HOW HARD IS IT RYCHE HUH??!!! jp. Im sure he'll make up for it. rite?

Just because you can see lots of spores in your syringe doesnt mean shit - they, as some here has already stated - are microscopic and the only time that you can see them is when they are clumped - which isnt often... Sporeworks are one of the best!!!
