My favorite cowboy was, without a doubt, my Grandfather. This is the only pic I had on short notice but my Father has some fantastic ones of Grandpa in his youth. He was a true son of the Wild West and he woulda kicked the shit outta any of those Hollywood cowboys. And he probably woulda shared a drink with the likes of Wild Bill. By the 1930's even the remote areas of the 'Wild West' weren't that wild anymore, but Grandpa was one of the last of a dying breed. I am proud to be his Grandson (can ya tell? )!
