well technically it's within the next 15 years from a report that i had read....that is, if they keep pumping heavily (which is what's going on right now) from the largest oil reserve in Saudi Arabia.

it's funny cause the Canadian govt have announced a couple of months ago (or was it a few) that they would start spending billions of dollars for the best way to extract oil from its oil sands....and a year before they announced this, the Canadian government pretty much said they wouldn't go abouts looking for ways to best extract the oil until worse comes to worse....

maybe this is a sign .

yah, because we know where all the oil is on the planet. There is no chance we will find another huge reserve somewhere.

Who wants to bet this whole oil shortage thing is just a ruse by OPEC and friends to raise oil prices? We've probably got 500 years of oil left down there....

doubtful. when it gets too expensive, we will quit using gas and use alternatives.
