Got this new dehydrator from walmart

would you say 95-105F to dry the mushrooms out?  i'm excited to use this thing, i've got tons of stuff i'd love to have dried for when i go out.  make some jerky too  :thumbup:

Very nice, that's the right tool for the job. The lowest setting will definitely work, as will the highest. Use the lowest setting to be on the "safe side" for potency retention. Mine doesn't have a setting and blazes away at 140-150F, and my friends certainly don't complain about any lack of potency.

That's only 'cause you supplement your poo with bloodmeal crushed from the bones of nitrogen and poo-fed tryptophan fyrehorses.  :wink:

$35, it was the only one they had, i had no luck finding any at second hand stores.  i didn't want to spend that much, but it looks like a pretty nice one, and i'm not just using it to dry mushrooms so it should be worth the $$  :sun:

That's not a bad price.  I found one in a local large store that was an American Harvest and it was 19.99.  I'm not sure what the specific "model" name was, but, it was a dial-temp dehydrator with a couple of trays on it.  Actually beat the price I got mine for off of ebay (after shipping was added in).  :cool:

Haha, hey Bobo.  Nah, it's all about the horse poo.  For all I know personally, it's nuttin' to do with bloodmeal and all about the horse gods.  :smile:
