I drove 6 hours to see Bom yesterday
    #4417047 - 07/17/05 10:58 PM (18 years, 8 months ago)

I had last night and today off, so I drove 6 hours to see Bom it was fun....it was also the most beautiful drive, despite the rain showers....

This is what my whole drive was like:

Then I stopped at ragged falls, this waterfall that I love:

I took my shoes off and navigated these rocks (in a skirt, with a coffee in hand) to get closer to the water...

I took a little dip and washed off my feet....the minows loved it! (the little black things are minows)

I also saw 4 moose, a rabbit and a fox....I tried to take pictures of them...but it didn't work out :frown:

Moose are a lot less exciting when you see them eating your trees or running in front of your car all the damn time.

Nice pictures! I love seeing pictures from cool places. I am really bad at that, i go places and dont come back with 1 picture.
Where is this place at btw?

We did NOTHING and it was AWESOME.  One of my favorite things to do in the entire world is sit around with my best friend and talk about everything and nothing, a sip of that, puff puff pass.

Interesting fact:  We had the same dream from different perspectives.  :cool:

Sounds like the perfect weekend to me... I'd much rather sit around and relax with good company than spend all weekend going GO GO GO!

nice looking drive;

it's too bad you guys never made it to the beach but it's never really the location that matters... it's the people!

Alot of the drive was through Algonquin Provincial Park...we should set up a camping trip up there...its so nice up there and the backwoods are so untouched that you can drink the lake water
