Should I eat my "Subway" sub?

The chick who prepared it had herpes bad all over her lips. She did wear gloves, but I am still kind of freaked out. The sub is sitting here untouched.

I need advice!

the lip herpes virus (herpex simplex) is something we all carry inside... it just breaks out in some people and in some not...

i would eat it...

There are different strains of herpes, called simplexes. Herpes simplex 1 is prevelant in most of the population (cold sores). Herpes simplex 2 is the one to watch out for. As for your sandwich, eh I'd eat it, you aren't gonna get herpes from someone making you a sandwich with gloves on.

Do not eat it! if I saw someone that had that, no way...do you want herpes too?? if the person preparing my food looked even semi nasty looking, that alone would ruin my appitite for a while...before I even thought about eating the food... :puke: :projectile:

another case of "what i don't see i don't care about"... how many chefs at a restaurant you ate at do you think have had herpes or maybe even some other worse disease? and i betcha none of them used gloves to prepare the food...

Yea, If some chick was preparing my food with full blown herpes scattered all over her dry crusty lips, I just wouldn't have that much of an appetite to muster down that whole sub.

I was in Subway yesterday and this dude was yelling at the sandwhich maker over the most ridiculous shit. When the sandwhich maker put the meat on the sandwhich this guy flipped out, threw his arms in the air and yelled "NO MAN, DON'T FOLD THE MEATS!". I almost bust out laughing but he was seriously a dick. And it went on and on, from how to cut the bread, to when different condiments should be applied and how much of each item should be put on.

I was going to say something but he was a huge black dude and probably would have shanked me right there in the store. He kept repeating that he was "From Brooklyn" and knew how he liked his shit....whatever guy, doesn't mean you have to belittle the sandwhich maker.

Same here man. I wouldnt have even payed for it and walked out of the place. That's bad business to have somebody with herpes all over their face serving the food. :thumbdown: They should keep her in the back as a secret weapon for instances where the local :cop: comes to pick up some food. :grin:

I know of so many instances where people have gotten food sickeness from SUBWAY mayo. This is because it was standard practice to just put new mayo on top of the old mayo when the squirter got low. After awhile that stuff at the bottom will go bad and someone will wind up getting the bottom stuff. Gross.

This is the truth, I worked for Subway at various times from 1996 until 2001 (I would just walk in whenever I wanted, work and slang subs for a few months then quit).
