golden road to unlimited devotion live
    #4389546 -

i have a couple of live versions of the golden road to unlimited devotion, but they're not the best. one that i have they were so high on acid that it didnt sound too good(doesnt sound bad, i just want a better version). the other one that i have is really good, but the first 20 seconds of the song is cut off. i have 5-5-67 at fillmore, and 3-18-67 at winterland. i can't find a really good version of it. i know they only played it for a 6 month period in 1967, and then they played it some more after jerry died.

does anyone have a good version of this song that they would like to trade?

Thanks guys

i just wish there was some good grateful dead versions of it out there. that song has so much energy to it, i think it wouldve been a great song for their shows. can't win em all though.

i love the part in the grateful dead movie when that song comes on and theres a montage of pictures of the dead in the 60s, with bob with really long hair, them playing the summer of love. ahh good stuff, i think i'm gonna watch the gd movie now

if you want to be amazed, listen to this show. I don't know the quality cause I got it elsewhere, but the let it grow sounds like the child of an amphetamine binge.
