Our Studio
    #4390158 - 07/10/05 06:18 PM (11 years, 4 months ago)

Here's a pic of the studio we use to make our music. Its the only pic I have that isn't blurry. And also a pic of our "mascots" that are always on when we write and play.

We are going to be recording to computer in a week or so. I'll post the songs when we do. We have about 45 minutes, or 5-6 songs done.

My side is the closest to the camera, facing it. On the left is a Alesis Wedge. Which is a master reverb machine. It does some wicked effects and you can also plug instruments straight into it and reverb the shit out of the sound. Its amazing. Got it for 30 bucks, it goes for $200-400. In the middle is the RM1X. A synthesizer. My machine. Then on the right is the Electribe Er-1. Its a beat machine, but I use it for digital sounds. You'll hear it in one of the songs I'll post when we record.

On the other side is my roommates. On the left is a Boss sampler. We're using some samples from Altered States, A Boy and His Dog, and some really old crappy yahmaha video were they talk about synthesizers. Its pretty funny. In the middle is the RS7000, his main machine. On the right, a keyboard, can't remember what the model or make is right now.

That's it... hopefully I'll get some songs posted soon.

Cheers.

How much money have you put into your studio? Looks nice!

Not that much actually.  $400 maybe.  Most of the equipment we bought used or received as gifts.  Most of the money is mainly spent on wires.  Which you can't really see, especially on the floor.  But they're everywhere.

I'm looking at getting a keyboard for myself.  But I am swamped with bills, so it'll be awhile.  Anybody have one to donate??

Rm1X isn't a synth, technically it's a Sequence Remixer.. I had one of those.. Back in the day.. It froze up, and it got crushed when it was getting shipped back to Yamaha, I just saved the money I got back from it, and put ut towards a Toshiba laptop.. My new studio
