Comets on Fire

I just searched to see if anyone has mentioned this band on the shroomery because I just heard them for the first time last night and I figured since they were so amazing especially on shrooms that they'd get mentioned at least half as often as The Mars Volta or one of the other popular bands on the shroomery, but to my shock I couldn't find a single mention of them on here.

Okay, you guys seriously need to check out this band. I was sitting in a friends house on about four grams of cubensis listening to  them and watching a light bounce off of a ceiling fan. For ten minutes my life was perfect.

They're like this 70s psychadelic jam band and I normally hate jam bands but the bass lines and trippy nature of their music totally drew me and made me a fan. You people seriously need to check out a song called Blue Tomb.

It's just so damn good, it must be fattening.  :grin:

You made them sound so good, hah. So I hurried to my LimeWire and downloaded Blue Tomb..

Well, it didn't really blow me away. I could see how it would be cool on shrooms though.

haha awesome, Comets on Fire are spectacular, i've been trying to pass on the news for years. their latest album Blue Cathedral is fucking brilliant, the last three tracks could be an album in themselves.
