I noticed, made me laugh for a sec.

I'm putting back cups of coffee and vodka. been drinking since around two this afternoon. wasted. Just ran out of ganja though :frown:

Does the coffee actually make a good mixer man? Never had that before. Im not a big coffee fan but I do like a nice french vanilla cappuccino here and there. :smile: Maybe Ill have to give it a shot one of these days. Im just tipping back the usual cheap shit. hah. OM 16ozers. :beer:

That's the thing with vodka. It's just a liquor that go mix with virtually anything, because it's such a neutral spirit. It's like the H2-o of the liquor-world.

That makes since. Iv always gotten along good with Vodka. My personal favorite when it comes to liquor. :thumbup: :sun:

Iv only mixed it with OJ,Cranberryjuice, and Mt Dew one time when I had nothing else. hah.

it's a great mixer. I don't drink much but the last few days I've not wanted to go to sleep at night for some reason so tonight I was drinking and getting sleepy so I decided to make some coffee to keep me up. I was doing 7 up and vodka but once the coffee was made I switched. It's great because it's hot and strong and bitter and all that either overwhelms or compliments the alcohol flavor of the vodka, which makes for a really smooth drink. and it's keeping me up. I rarely drink coffee, but when I do, I drink it strong and I drink a lot, so it amps me up quite a bit. I'll be roaring for a while now.

i'm drinking mellon balls: fill a pint jar with ice, add 1 shot of vodka, 2 shots melon liquor, and the rest with OJ... it's pretty damn good, easy to drink.. but see my throat sugar pain related thread.... but easy to drink for those who dont drink... after the first half a one i was gettin pretty messed up, but that's a combo of me not a consistant drinker (maybe 3-5 times a year) and emptyish stomach, and the 105 proof vodka i got for valerian extraction experiments...

Definately sounds like a good mix if your looking to stay up a while. Ill definately have to use it as a mixer one of these days. Not tonight though. Id love to pass out but I dont see it happening anytime soon and the beer is definately not going to put me under. hah

OH, you reminded me...


I have created an excellent recipe, which I just thought of yesterday in fact.

Must have:

Blender
Godiva White Chocolate liquor
Vanilla Ice cream, preferably the genuine kind with vanilla beans [Dreyers]
Raspberries
Raspberry wine
Ice cubes

1)Take one box [or more] of raspberries in which they're sold, and pour 'em into a bowl, and mix it with just enough raspberry wine to create a saucy mixture.

2)Fill 1/4 of the blender with ice cubes.

3)Fill the Godiva White Choc Liq up to the top of the ice cubes [or more, depending how much alcoholic content you want.]

4)Pour in the raspberry sauce. Generally, you want a very nice and thick layer.

5)Fill the rest with large scoops of vanilla ice cream.

Liquify

And enjoy.
