mp3 trade

I've made some songs in mp3 format and I was wondering if there are any web sites where I can upload and download mp3s? Not just something like napster, but a site where people who have made their own music can have it heard by other people and where I could download someone elses music too?

MP3.com is a little like that. But they wont post a lot of amatures stuff either. If you were looking for a Napster type browser get Morpheus at cnet.com's downloads.

Say, if your really interested in amature musician's music you might want to check out an mp3 that I have. I invented a modication for a standard Gibson RB250 banjo that allows it to sound much like the sound of Hendrex or even Metalica. I mean, someone had to do it. I used Bill Lawerence rail type Humbucker pickups, Cry Baby Wah pedal, tube over drive distortion and Zoom digital effects.... I have much better mixes of this jamm, however I cant get them to upload to Yahoo.

Anyway, if you dont belive that a banjo can be used for Hard Rock music check out what I recorded a couple of years ago by myself in my bedroom. After downloading be sure and rename the file to *.MP3 so that it will play.

Anyone interested check out: (copy&paste) http://briefcase.yahoo.com/bc/terry333333/lst?.dir=/Friends&.view=l

It's strictly amature shit, needs bass big time, but I'm very proud of it becuase I have never heard another banjo player play Heavy Metal music! Remeber to rename the file to *.mp3 if anyone d/ls it.

What kind of music do you play?

Well I have never sent my stuff to MP3.com, I jamm out of the love of it and gave up on any "Rock Star" type ambitions years ago. However, I do have a friend (literialy speaking A FRIEND. hehe.. seriously) that makes music on the side that was going off 'cuz they turned him down for his so called "Porn Rock" format.. haha...

I just loaded my song "Sleep Is For The Weak" onto Zebox under the artist name "Mo-Pheen". I've got 6 other songs besides that, but that's one of my better ones. Check it out people, tell me what you think.
