NE Gathering

So my girlfriend is coming with me to the NE Gathering. This is a good thing and all, but I'm concerned that she won't have people to talk to. She does not grow, or for that matter even smoke the green. She is not at all offended by drugs of any kind- use, sale, anything. She is pro legalization. She used to eat some of my grows with me, but now she is way too focused on her education.

So enough of that... my question is- Is there anyone one attending the NE Gathering in school for engineering? She will be a senior this year for electrical engineering. It would be nice if there was someone other than me she could talk to so she doesn't feel outcast.

Oh yeah, she is a fanatic about fishing too, so hopefully there is good fishing.

I'm in school working towards an associates in computer and electrical engineering, and Ill be bringing my laptop, some geek toys, MOVIES, plenty of music and I usually bring a well stocked bar with gin&tonic, rum&coke and whiskey for the evenings (if she drinks) There should be plenty of people interested in intellectual conversation strewn about the site... and the more the merrier  :thumbup:

That is GREAT! Every other word out of her mouth is MOSFET or CMOS, and her concentration is microelectronics so and electrical gizmo's there she will be amused by.

I will be bringing her some chilled Riesling from the Finger Lakes region on our way through NY. That's all she drinks... white, fruity, cold wine...


I'm bring a half dozen fishing poles with me... I'm sure Ohio has weekend licenses available... Maybe Ill look into that now...

Holy shit it is expensive to fish in Ohio...  $11 for a one-day license, $19 for a three day, $40 for a year.  Thats non resident...

Unfortunatly there arnt any good box wines... so Id recomend getting a large thermous or something to put the wine in... something air tight for sure... you dont want it to oxygenate till your drinking it :laugh:

This year i think i will actually bring bombay saphire in a plastic jug instead of buying that gordans in a plastic bottle crap
