Kanna and mushrooms, what is the verdict?

I recently began using kanna as a daily supplement to fight off social anxiety and I was wondering if anyone has experience with this herb in combination with mushrooms. I have read conflicting reports of the effect. Some say it will bring you down from a mushroom trip and others report that it gave them a very good trip. I tried posting this topic in the trip tips forum and nobody had any info so I'm bringing it here to you ethnobotanical wizards.

Note: Some research lists kanna as an SSRI but this cannot be confirmed either.

Honestly I really can't say for sure at this point. My social anxiety is very random and depends on the setting and how I'm feeling that day. I can say that I feel a sense of well being when I use the kanna. This could all be placebo effect but either way I enjoy using it.

I can see kanna helping with social anxiety. Try not using it too much though, a tolerance does build, and it's said to be somewhat addictive. I remember wanting to smoke kanna on mushrooms before aswell, but never got around to it. Worth a shot..
