I might be getting some mushrooms tomorrow (dried) and I need to save them. How long will they last out in the open? and where should I store them to make them last the longest without losing potency?

if they're throughly dried (cracker dry, to the point of turning dust if pressed), you can just put in a bag and store in a dark cool place... will last at least months this way.
