GOT MILKDROP???

Have you ever checked out the probably greatest music visualization program of all? Honeslty if you havent ever downloaded Winamp and checked out its visual plugin called Milkdrop then you are missing out.
The great thing about MIlkdrop is that most average 3-D graphics cards run it just fine, and if you go to the milkdrop resorce site you can download literally thousands of different presets which lots of other people have designed due to it being fairly easy to program for. Milkdrop rules!

Yeah this thing is amazing to watch, thousands of presets that cycle through almost seamlessly. Also much faster than Winamp's built in AVS.

you can also vote on each visual. Ones that are a 5 are in common roation the lower a score down to 0 the less common a visual shows up so overtime it gets better. =D

just got it today, and was not at first impressed...

Messed around with it a bit and found the certain mods(illusion)to be amazing!

I'm developing the new version which is slowly underway. First an update to my website of presets and info and after that full on with 1.05 depending what whether visualization work gets in the way. Been doing new stuff for R4 in the past year and GForce as well as new stuff. See the wiki visualization in my sig

When running MilKDrop with most machines now-a-days can increase the default mesh size a bit for more detail.

I just seen bitcores presets, and it's way impressive, very psychedelic. Put on Autechre and Lusine.

word. on mushrooms i have seen much more amazing shit with my eyes closed that milkdrop cant even begin to compare too...if your trippin and want to see visuals put on some music in a dark room, youwill not be disappointed.

but milkdrop is damn sweet as far as these visualization programs go, watching it after smokin some bud is fucking cool.

It is funny, I love Milkdrop, but while tripping I prefer to make the visualizations myself... when sober or stoned though, Milkdrop does the rest. :smile:
