The Rastorbator I just found this and though you all would like it. Basically it takes any picture you have and allows you to spread it over many pages to make one huge poster. Here is a really big one, 100 pages, but you can crop and resize to however many pages you want. It helps if you have a place like a college or somewhere you can print for free so you don?t waste all your ink. Also use IE with the latest version of flash. You can go to the gallery here. I?m going to do a huge Scarface one. The posiblilities are almost endless when you bring different kinds of composition into the picture such as not making the poster a perfect square, or incorporating two or more pictures together. Some of yalls artwork would be pretty rad too methinks.

Thats actually not my creation, just one of the more impressive examples. And I haven't the slightest idea of who that is. I'm going to do a 6x6 page Scarface one of the picture below.

That's actually a fairly trick to do in Photoshop using slices and save for web.

I have three weeks left at my current university... on the last day, I'm going to try and print something in colour on the communal laser printer .
Baby_Hitler: how does one do that in photoshop? Is it possible to that do images without turning them into dots?

I just blew the images up to like 6 feet tall (or whatever size I needed) with the minimum dpi to make it look good (it really slowed the computer down) I usually got by with 150 dpi I think.
Then I made a bunch of slices that were the size I wanted, and used the "save to web" function. I think it may have to be a .gif for it to work.
It will automatically save each slice in a different file.
Something like that. It's been a few years since I did all that. Took me forever to figure it out though.
I saved a file with just the slices, and then I could just copy and paste the slices onto any pre-sized image.

I tried doing this image a while ago, but can't get it to print out for some reason. I got it rastorbated to like a 5x4 sheets.
