Lucky for me, my basement apt is full of them. Just the thought sends me into shivers. I wake up from dreams thinking they are dangling above my head and i frantically check the covers. My umbrella has become a sword of death. I've slain dozens yet they still return. Even typing this post I can feel my forehead sweat and the nerves start kicking in.

I used to live in a basement level condo...I was in the shower one day, with shampoo in my hair, and I turned around and one of those things was on the wall like 3 inches from my face.  I ran out of the shower, out of the bathroom, dead naked, covered in soap, and closed the bathroom door.  I wouldn't go back in there.  I had to finish my shower in the fucking kitchen sink, because I was too scared to kill the thing. 

Anything with that many legs is not ok in my book.
