I enjoyed getting my wisdom teeth out, yeah a little nervous going under anesthesia, but it ended up being fun. They said count back from 10-1, 10-9-8-and then i woke up. It wasn't painful for me, i went fly fishing the next day, they took all four out too. The doctor gave me a shitload of perkaset. I drank a shit-ton of smoothies. Cant really remember what all i ate, jello maybe??

Try mashing up some flaked white tuna with mayo, it will have the texture and consistency of pablum but it's high in nutritive value and protein :yesnod:

Soup, ice cream, any thing liquid for the first few days.  I had friends who were eating whole foods 2-3 days latter.  I was more like a week.  It really depends on your body and healing time I guess.

The day I got all four of my wisdom teeth removed my family decided to cook steaks for dinner.  I was ready to kill everyone when all I got was Campbells chicken noodle soup.   :mad2:

i bled alot so i had tons of cotton in my mouth for a while.  you aren't supposed to suck but i figured a way to do it without fucking things up.  i put my soup in a cup and used a straw.  wedged the straw between my tounge and the top of my mouth and and sucked that way so there was no suction actually inside my mouth.

when i had it done my mom didnt want to fill my vicodin prescription and wanted me to use my brother's left over t3's... i managed to convince her

I know there are at least two ways to get your wisdom teeth out, because both I and friend had them done around the same time. My doctor did it the old fashioned way, cutting up the whole damn gum and ripping the shit out. His doctor just like zaps the tooth and sucks it or something, much less invasive. I had much more pain and recovery time. :[

Getting knocked out and waking up was fun. I remember being like "I think I am feeling it now..." and then I woke up later feelin nice and tripped out. My mom and the doctors kept telling me to sit down but I was like no way this is nice. :p

alcohol might get into the wound and slow down the healing.

you're not supposed to use rubbing alcohol on big things like that, at least

i went through the same shit man.. its painful but not as bad as its expected to be. i liked drinking cold fluids like milkshakes. the doctor may tell you not to use a straw. ice pops are also really good. other foods would be jello, pudding, oatmeal, anything that does not involve much chewing. have fun with the meds.
