Beer or Liquor?

So, me and a few friends of mine have been discussing whether beer is better or liquor is better. Its actually been an on going argument for the past few months, and i wanted to see what the preference was at the shroomery. Personally i like beer much better, just because drinking beer, at least to me, is hanging out relaxing with your freinds just enjoyin a good tasting pale ale. I can't stand rushing with liquor taking shot after shot, and then feeling like shit all next day. Anyway, thats my oppinion...

Beer is great for chilling, liquor is for getting really drunk. Unless it's top shelf stuff or something.

If your looking to get smashed quick then liqour is better. If you want to drink and be social beer is great!

Unless you really enjoy the taste of lliqour and can handle drinking it slowly.

Liqour!
Unlike weed, I don't drink just to relax and have a chill time.

My tollerence is high enough now that It's really hard for me to get drunk from beer. Beer bong's are pretty much the only reliable way anymore. I just cant drink beer fast enough to get hammered from it usually.

That being said, I think I like beer better for that reason. It tastes better, It's so damn refreshing, and it's an excellent conduit for chill social situations at home or with friends. I find it to be more versitile in my life I suppose.

But I do have to give respect for liquor, as when I want to get really drunk I hit the bottle, and it never lets me down.

I just love the taste of beer. I really cant stand liquor unless it's given to me or it's good mixed drink. But, i don't like light beer, i fucking despise coors light and bud light. If your gonna get drunk, drink some sierra nevada or some bass or something good and dark.

it all depends on the situation. at concerts, i like to chill with a beer. if I'm at a bar, ill usually do shots. when I'm with my friends, lately I've been drinking beer. i usually switch it up to vodka every few months or so..... When i get sick where I'm like "I'm never drinking again" i switch back to beer. when it happens with beer, i switch back to hard stuff. its a tedious cycle!

I love the taste of beer but I drink liqour when I really want to get down to business and get drunk. Lots of time when I'm drinking a mixed drink I find myself wanting a beer instead. Plus beer is better for just sitting around chilling. I can drink a lot and still be suitable for public. Get some Jack in me and ther's no telling what might happen.

I prefer liqour, and mind you, I don't drink to get WASTED. I drink for a nize buzz, and that's it. Beer is alright, just not quite my cup of tea. Something about drinking liquor seems more... classy. Unless you're chugging some eight dollar potato vodka straight from the bottle.

I'm gonna try out some fine tequila next time. Anybody know any good tequila recipes, or brands of tequila?

So far it seems like the best I've seen is something called "Patron"..

I haven't tried too many different types of Tequila but I have tried Patron and Cabo Wabo and they're both very high quality.

I've tried most kinds of liquors and hundreds of different beers in my life.

Beer is better, but liquor is quicker.

I'm a beer drinker.  I'm not afraid to drink anything if the mood strikes, but I still prefer a beer.  And there is enough variety in beers alone that you will never get bored.  Ales, stouts, lagers, porters, pilsners.....in hundreds of different varieties and styles.  It'd take a lifetime to try them all, and thats exactly what I intend to do!!
