Are you interested in doing a show for Shroomery Radio? You can do anything that you want. Jazz, techno, blues, hip hop, folk....whatever you're into. Be creative. There are a few rules, but they are not complicated.
If you are interested in doing a show post here or send me a PM or something and I'll hook you up with all the info that you need to get started.
What we really need is some enthusiastic shroomerites who would be willing to put together a one hour spot once a week.

Well, I put all my MP3 files into an appropiately titled folder and number them all in order leaving spaces for breaks.
I use Sound Forge to record my talking stuff and save it into my show folder. I upload the whole thing piece by piece with an FTP program. If I try and do it all in one sitting, it usually takes about two or three hours given that I'm also fucking around on IRC or in here.
I usually download all the music one day, do the voice stuff another day, put it all together and upload it another day.
I can give you better specifics if you want, but I'm going to make some food, so I'll be back in an hour or so.

i am still enthusiastic about doing my show 
i have been job hunting non stop lately though adn dont even have money for a mic!!
it is all rather lame, because i have so much godamn music and i want to do this 
i feel like im part of the "letting you down" section of teh shroomery radio.
i will have a mic by monday no matter what, and then there is nothing stopping the todcasil hour!!!

Don't feel bad, Tod. Shit happens and sometimes we have to focus on other aspects of our life. I know how it is...trust. :P The show that you did was absoloutly kick-ass and you should definitely jump on the boat.
Get a mic, dood. They're like 10 bucks at staples or grand and toy or whatever. Rock on.

I run my own radio show at http://grindradio.com, it's 100% grindcore (underground extreme metal).
I like shroom radio so far, was listening last night for a while. Good stuff!

Hi-
I'd be interested in doing a show.. can't say for certain what day/time I'd be regularly availible at the moment, and I also don't have a mic.. or a program like Sound Forge (although that can be remedied).
I guess what I'm saying is, point me in the right direction, I'd love to contribute!

You don't have to be regularaly available. All the shows are pre-recorded. Doobs likes to have them in by wednesday night so he can put together fridays show.
You can get a decent mic for about $10 at any office supply/computer store. Download and install the free version of Sound Forge. You can probably find it on downloads.com. I think that is where I got mine. If not, just google it and you'll get a billion hits.
