Hi,
im trying to connect to the shroomery irc, but somehow i always get
Quote:
Connect retry #15 irc.shroomery.org (6667)
-
* Unable to connect to server (Software caused connection abort)

Ive tried all ports from 6660 - 6668, but obviously they are all blacklisted.
Anyone know why im getting this? Im not firewalled, nor behind a router.

Thanks,
Jazz

no, it says:

[00:26] Unable to connect : java.net.SocketException : Software caused connection abort: connect
do you know what this means?

you should try connecting to the IP address instead maybe? 69.28.174.165/6667
if that doesnt work, ping that address and see if works, as i have a hunch its your nameserver or ISP being fubar.

if that doesnt work, send me an IM and ill see if i cant figure out another way for you to get on.
