Antonin Scalia is a fuckhead

April 14, 2005 -- WHEN U.S. Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia (above) spoke Tuesday night at NYU's Vanderbilt Hall, "The room was packed with some 300 students and there were many protesters outside because of Scalia's vitriolic dissent last year in the case that overturned the Texas law against gay sex," our source reports. "One gay student asked whether government had any business enacting and enforcing laws against consensual sodomy. Following Scalia's answer, the student asked a follow-up: 'Do you sodomize your wife?' The audience was shocked, especially since Mrs. Scalia [Maureen] was in attendance. The justice replied that the question was unworthy of an answer."

Actually you were completely right, but you know...sometimes shit happens and people ask unrelated questions. But if you have some comments about the article, I'd love to hear them.

I just think it's great that a gay person stepped up to the plate and held Scalia to task on the issue while at the same time humorously making him uncomfortable. Great place for it to happen too, since NYU's gay community is extremely vocal.

Unfortunately the NYU official newspaper's site is down or else I'm sure they'd have a more detailed article than the crap writers at the post. Once it's back up I'll post if I find out what his answer was.

I don't think it's out of line at all to knock the high-and-mighty down with low talk.
