Identifying a transistor
    #4051795 -

I have a transistor I am trying to identify. I assume it is a power transmitter, as it is currently used in an old power-amplifier for a car phone.

How can I find some info about this specific transistor?

It's marked:

(motorola symbol)
74N09
9034

On closer inspection...it may not be a transistor.

Does anyone know what this is????

Ahh ok. That's what I was hoping it was.

Any way I could find out some specs on it, other than just start tinkering with it?

It's highly unlikely that module is bad. On either side of it are the RF output transistors. I would start there, and check the bias resistors going to then.

Have fun
