i've not done it, but i think its amazing. it's great to watch, especially when you are rolling or tripping. You can see alot of it on the beach on maui. Every sunday they have a drum circle and fire spinning on little beach on the south shore. It's a good time.

I do the shit all the time----not soo much with Fire but more with Glowstix and sequenced LEdS. Im gonna rig some extendable Sparkler numchucks for the 4'th so I can do the Ninga styles figue 8'th in/outs as well as the Tribal Poi styles with the extendable long srings(handle push botton). I think that person up there means 40ouncestofreedom. or somethin.

Yeah, I do poi... a friend and I picked it up the summer before last. I'm not too bad, either, but since I've moved to Brooklyn I haven't really had the space. I was in Tompkin's Sq. Park, though, and I saw a bunch of kids spinning with glowsticks. I was tempted to approach them but I was all fucked up and didn't feel like associating with some hippies. One kid was sick, though - he kept doing these stalls with both poi that made them look like they were shriking and expanding in a way that I haven't seen much of.
